Perform routine preventative maintenance to ensure that machines continue to run smoothly, building systems operate efficiently, or the physical condition of building does not deteriorate.
Inspect, operate or test machinery or equipment to diagnose machine malfunctions.
Diagnose mechanical problems and determine how to correct them.
May occasionally perform administrative duties such as reports and presentation.
Responsible for engineering and maintenance operations of the hotel, hotel property, restaurant and grounds.
Responds to engineering and maintenance concerns.
Maintains departmental compliance with hotel maintenance procedures.
Supports hotel departmental maintenance programs and executes daily, weekly and monthly checklists.
Assists in the supervision of temporary maintenance associates.
Assist management in specifying proper supplies and equipment for operations.
Deals with guest related concerns and maintain the guest rooms, public space, and back of the hotel areas in good repair by performing various tasks related to a variety of trades including carpentry, plumbing, electrical, air conditioning, painting, wall covering and tiling to ensure an attractive and well maintained hotel.
Must possess knowledgeable of basic hand/power tool operation.
Diagnose mechanical problems and determined how to correct them.
Checking blue prints, repair manuals, or parts catalogs, as necessary.
Repair machine, equipment or structures, using tools such as hammers, saws, drills or wrenches.
Must have knowledge of working a drain or pipe cleaning equipment, pipe or tube cutter, power drills, and power saws.
Must have skills to maintain and repair equipment.
Clean and maintain pool and spa area.
Performs other task as determined and assigned by supervisor and management.
